This was supposed to be posted a week ago Monday, but lets just say the weeks have gotten away from me… between work, an occasional run, traveling to a wedding plus snow tubing which I’m sure did more damage to my training than all the food I ate, a surprise early 60th birthday brunch, and a funeral, I’m beat… but I did want to share my two weekends ago of firsts…

• First double-digit run since the Miami marathon in the wind and cold on Sunday along the Hudson River in Manhattan (let’s hope 11.5 miles a month followed by a month of unplanned tapering before the NYC Half is enough training to hopefully PR, crossing fingers)
• First run in my new Asics Nimbus 14 Lite Bright/Grape Pink sneakers

• Retired my Asics Nimbus 14 Neon Pink sneakers

• First time having dinner at Philippe with Josh
• First time watching Annie on Broadway since the dress rehearsal in October

• First time walking on a Broadway stage at the Palace Theater (thanks to my running buddy, Amanda who is incredible in the show; everyone should go see it!)
