Aside from running, I’ve accomplished a lot of non-running running-related activities this week.
- Officially accepted into the 2014 TCS NYC Marathon – even though I submitted my guaranteed entry a couple weeks ago, it wasn’t until this Wednesday (the day of the lottery picking) that I received my official entry email.
- And I applied to run with Athletes to End Alzheimer’s again. Even though I have guaranteed entry, it would not be the same to not train with the team and fundraise to help #EndAlz.
- My new iPod shuffle came in the mail and it’s named! Appropriate, right?
- I created a new running playlist for the shuffle. So far it only has enough songs to last me longer than a half marathon without repeating. However, knowing how content I am leaving just one song on repeat, I don’t think it will be a problem for me to listen to the same songs over and over again during a marathon.
